Our Mission

To provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

Founded in 1920, Pekin Rotary is the longest serving community organization in Pekin, Illinois, and provides over $12,000 in grants to the community of Pekin each year.

Rotary objectives are accomplished through programs involving community service, youth exchanges, environmental projects, youth leadership conferences, recreational and vocational fellowships and many others.

The Rotary Club of Pekin awards grants to not-for-profit organizations serving the good of our community.

What it means to be a part of Pekin Rotary:

Working with Rotary International to eliminate polio and provide essential services to impoverished people of the world.
Providing hundreds of meals each week to elderly shut-ins in the Pekin area since 1979.

Ensuring counseling services to children of the Preschool Family Education Center.
Gifting $4000 annually for college scholarships for local youth.
Giving every Pekin 3rd grader their own dictionary.

Hosting an annual recognition event for the Top 10% of local 8th grade students.
Providing annual financial support to many area organizations.
